Tikky helps users display follower counts for connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business or Creator accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can request deletion.
Tikky may also support connecting a TikTok account via TikTok Login (OAuth) to display permitted account information such as follower count. Tikky is not endorsed by or affiliated with TikTok.
Read only access: Tikky does not publish posts, send messages, or modify your accounts. We only read the minimum data needed to show follower counts.
TikTok read only access: If you connect TikTok, Tikky does not post, comment, message, follow, unfollow, or edit your TikTok account. Tikky only reads the minimum permitted data needed to display your follower count and other authorized metrics.
1 · Information we collect
- Contact information (optional): your email address if you contact support or join a mailing list.
- Connected account identifiers: Page ID and or Instagram account ID needed to fetch follower counts.
- Follower count data: follower totals for the connected Facebook Page and or Instagram account.
- Access tokens: tokens provided by Meta after you authorize connection, stored securely to keep the connection working.
- Basic technical logs: minimal logs needed to operate and secure the service (for example request timestamps and error codes).
1A · TikTok data we collect (only if you connect TikTok)
- TikTok account identifiers: identifiers provided by TikTok such as open_id and or union_id used to request authorized data.
- TikTok account metrics: follower count and other permitted statistical fields you authorize through TikTok scopes.
- TikTok access tokens: access token and, if applicable, refresh token provided by TikTok to keep the connection working.
1B. Shopify data we collect (only if you connect Shopify)
- Shopify store identifiers: store name and myshopify.com domain needed to connect your store.
- Shopify access tokens: tokens issued by Shopify after you authorize the app, stored securely to keep the connection working.
- Revenue summaries: daily and monthly revenue totals used to display your store performance on your Tikky display.
- Basic technical logs: minimal logs needed to operate and secure the service (for example request timestamps and error codes).
2 · How we use your information
- To connect your Facebook Page or Instagram Business or Creator account when you choose to authorize Tikky.
- To display follower counts in your Tikky dashboard and on connected devices.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
2A · How we use TikTok information
- To connect your TikTok account when you choose to authorize Tikky via TikTok Login (OAuth).
- To retrieve and display authorized TikTok account metrics such as follower count.
- To maintain the connection, including refreshing tokens when applicable, so your Tikky display stays updated.
2B. How we use Shopify information
- To authenticate your Shopify store and keep the connection active.
- To retrieve and display authorized store metrics such as daily and monthly revenue totals.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the Shopify connection.
3 · What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not read your private messages.
- We do not post, comment, like, follow, or publish on your behalf.
- We do not access personal Instagram accounts that are not Business or Creator accounts.
For TikTok, we do not access accounts you do not own or control. We do not attempt to scrape or collect TikTok data outside of TikTok’s authorized APIs.
For Shopify, we only read aggregated daily and monthly revenue totals and do not access customer personal information, payment details, or order contents unless explicitly required for the metrics you authorize.
4 · Sharing and third party services
We share data only with service providers needed to operate Tikky (hosting, database, and email support). We also use Meta APIs to retrieve follower counts for accounts you explicitly connect.
If you connect TikTok, we use TikTok APIs to retrieve authorized data for your connected TikTok account. TikTok may process data as described in TikTok’s own policies.
If you connect Shopify, we use Shopify APIs to retrieve authorized store metrics. Shopify processes data as described in Shopify's policies and your Shopify agreement.
5 · Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Access tokens are stored securely and access is restricted to systems that require it to operate Tikky.
For TikTok connections, tokens are stored securely and used only for the authorized scopes you approved. We restrict access to tokens and rotate or invalidate them when connections are removed.
For Shopify connections, tokens are stored securely and used only for authorized scopes you approved. We restrict access to tokens and revoke or delete them when connections are removed.
6 · Retention
We keep connected account data only while your account remains connected, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
TikTok tokens and TikTok account identifiers are retained only while your TikTok account remains connected, or until you request deletion. If TikTok revokes access or you disconnect, we stop using the tokens and delete or invalidate them within a reasonable period.
Shopify tokens and store identifiers are retained only while your Shopify store remains connected, or until you request deletion. If you uninstall the app or revoke access in Shopify, we stop using the tokens and delete or invalidate them within a reasonable period.
7 · Disconnecting and deleting your data
- Disconnect: you can disconnect a Page or Instagram account from Tikky within your Tikky dashboard.
- Deletion request: email us at tikky.counter@gmail.com and we will delete your account data associated with Tikky.
7A · Disconnecting TikTok and revoking access
- Disconnect in Tikky: you can disconnect your TikTok account from Tikky within your Tikky setup flow or dashboard, if available.
- Revoke in TikTok: you can revoke Tikky's access from TikTok account settings or app permissions, which stops Tikky from accessing TikTok data.
- Deletion request: email tikky.counter@gmail.com to request deletion of stored TikTok connection data such as tokens and identifiers.
7B. Disconnecting Shopify and revoking access
- Disconnect in Tikky: you can disconnect your Shopify store from Tikky within your Tikky setup flow or dashboard, if available.
- Uninstall in Shopify: you can uninstall the app or revoke Tikky's access from your Shopify admin app settings, which stops Tikky from accessing Shopify data.
- Deletion request: email tikky.counter@gmail.com to request deletion of stored Shopify connection data such as tokens and store identifiers.
8 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at tikky.counter@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
If you connect TikTok, the data Tikky can access depends on the scopes you approve during TikTok authorization. You can choose not to grant certain permissions, and you can revoke access at any time.
